commission bay
An intergalactic spacestation epic
This is a short story for my upcoming map commision bay
The sign commission bay ejected from the ceiling hitting the floor alerting the alien creatures that were down the hall in the lounge area. Frank looked at me with a terrified face. "Run" I yelled too the five survivers. We ran down the hall meeting at the trainstation. Oh my go... Hay shhhhh One of the last survivors said to the other scared surviver.
We soon camped in the trainstation area hiding from the aliens. Becky the nurse stepped off to side and pulled out a cigar lighting it instantly. The entire area lit up with sirens... please no smoking... This will cause system malfunction. Then the sirens stoped. We suddenly heard a sound Coming from down the hall. The nurse looked up and soon as she put out her cigerate she gets mauled by a huge alien. It instantly mutilated her limbs. We watched in agony.
"oh no run" I shouted! We all ran down another hallway leading to the exit of the commission bay. "shit it's locked" We turned around an there was the nurses corps hanging from the larger aliens mouth. It growled at us dropping the nurse. It then charged at us killing everybody except me. Rolling out of the I hit my neck against the wall. The huge alien trampled the door instantly. After I woke up 10'sec later I seen the creature running towards the lobby. I looked up and I hear shots coming from the hall. "Fire, Fire it's huge shoot it, shoot it, go for it's legs" I see 15 marines shooting at the alien.
2 medics came over and put me on a dolly. I looked at the ceiling then at the Brocken door and I see 4 marines putting lasers around the door sealing the commission bay. Then too my left 35 feat away there they are fighting the huge creature. It swings it's huge claw at one of the marines instantly splitting him in half. The blood flew all over me. "ahhh don't worry officer we are taking you to the infirmary" the medic marine said to me.
15 hours earlier
I'm in the guards barracks looking at my handbook...
I see what I first wrote when I first got hired to guard the commission bay.
"well today is my first day to help people in and out of the bay.
We are in the middle of the ship and only about 200 people are working in the bay.
I was amazed at how many people are outside the commision bay. Over 60,000 residents in this ship.
But I was assigned to this place".
That was 4 years ago. I closed my notebook and stored it in my locker.
I looked at the clock and at 6pm I have too go the library and guard the library for 5 hours.
Me and my partner Frank are the only guards in the commission bay.
Today he has duties at the trainstation.
3 hours had past and I get a call on the radio from Frank.
"shit shit shit yo man you need to get your ass down here now, I just seen one of those alien creatures we studied about. I seen a dretch and a granger. Fuck they killed about 5 people. I just walked on the train that just came wondering why there is blood on the floor and Nobody was getting off.
I have a rifle but its in my locker and I only seen the aliens for a quick second, I I think they went into the vents".
Ok I'm on my way. As I ran back too the locker room I noticed a white line of sight coming from the window. I turned around and looked at the window. About 2 miles away coming from the blackness of space you can see one part of the commission bay is on fire and an asteroid is right next to it.
I stoped at the nearest phone station and called the headquarters of the ship.
Headquarters "this is not a drill" we have a fire in commission bay 5 and in
Commission bay 6 there are reports of aliens.
Ok we will send medics and turn on water. And did you say aliens in commission bay 6. The train station.
Yes the are reports of two aliens a dretch and a granger.
After I said what kind of aliens the doors were locked. All the doors the enter the commission bay 6 were locked.
I picked the phone backup.... "hello, hello"
We have too lock the area down. Until troops get down there. You are to get the people in one area of the bay. Make it the library. That is the biggest area that will hold over 200 people.
And the granger alien is too be found and exterminated on site. Do you here me marine.
That little alien is able too make a base that can breed more of these creatures and it gets worse.
I put the phone down wondering what my next move was.
