Are there any game server providers out there now that offer Tremulous?

I havnt seen any...however...talk to me if you're wanting to start up a server :)
know that I myself cannot do anything, that I will fall, and that I am a sinful man, but I know that I can do ANYTHING through God Almighty, whom strengthens me.

You rent game servers? What kind of connection you got? Server specs? Price?

While we're on the topic Confess, as you know I've added you to msn but it looks like I'm never on when you are.

Would you be able to disguss the servers via PM?

I am thinking about setting up Tremulous servers for rent for people in the EU. Pings would be like on tremulous.info or #db@ servers.

Features would be:

- Webinterface to start/stop/restart server and edit configs
- Latest server binaries
- FTP access to upload new maps
- minimum 10 slot server

Payment / conditions:

- PayPal or bank transfer monthly in advance
- 1€ / slot
- 39€ setup
- Minimum 6 months, can be cancelled monthly after that

Mind that this is just a project I am thinking about. I would have to get at least 40 slots rented before I could setup the thing. Anybody interested?

European Union only!

6 months minimum is prohibitive tbh. Very few people will want to commit themselves for that long.

As I said in a previous thread, i'm willing to bet Jolt would run servers if they were approached. After all its essentially a quake3 mod...

It may be prohibitive... but renting a root server just to rent gameservers to others is risky if it is not your core business in a small company like ours.
So you have to have some security. If I could get enough people I would start it, otherwise I won't... it does not really matter for my company or me personally, it would be a service for the community.

But I don't want to spend more money on it than I would get out... ;)
