second, is not "bad" NOT a valid reason for a kick or a ban?

from the outside looking in, with the detail you provided, this could be anything.

i'm no authority here, but if i were, this would not convince me that a ban was needed.

edit: especially a 2 week one.  i had thought the standard for griefing (at least first ban) is 2-3 days.
