Adv. Dretch The discussion

I think there should be some sort of advanced dretch since there is an advanced almost everything in the game.

Ideas: (A compilation of all Ideas and suggestions)

Night Vision Dretch
Darker Colored Dretch
The two listed above could mix to become the Adv. Dretch.
Dretch has 10 more HP
Runs a little slower

A little more damage
Slightly larger magazine
Faster ROF
Alternatively to an ADV. Rifle, a pack that aids your rifle, such as advanced clips upgrade for 100 Creds, that extends your clip, advanced ROF upgrade for 150 creds etc.

adv dretch has been brought up half a dozen times. It likely ain't happening.

In all truth, everything described thus far as 'adv dretch discussion' is summed up in the existing class: basilisk.

Dretch is the advanced dretch...
If your looking to have an advanced everything.. just retexture it and give it a little more health. It doesn't need anything else.. its already a super killing machine.

Do you know how powerful a dretch is because you don't need to bite?
ONLY thing you worry about is movement, the game does the rest by biting automaticly.
You don't have to try to get the jump and (click to make the dretch) bite synchronous to get the max effect..

Humans: Spawn with free light armour, cannot be sold, light armour removed from armoury buy list (obviously)

There we go, two small improvements to give late joiners more of a chance, without directly improving their attack power. So, all it's doing is giving them a chance to survive a liiiittle bit longer, to get that extra kill so they can evo.

Forgive me for not being able to accurately balance my idea, it's kind of hard when it's only in your head and isn't being playtested in the game. Besides, armour doesn't protect the head so you're still at 4hp if a dretch bites you there, which isn't too hard. Maybe 40 hp then? Any more than that and it's just a basi.

Anyway, the idea is to give the free units, excluding builders, a bit more defense/hp so they can survive a little longer. And Oz, good point, didn't think of that >_> Now I'm not too sure how a free armour system would work, since it'd be tough finding a plausible way to prevent other weapons being used with it. But armour seems like the best way to do it, since improving the rifle itself would cause bigger issues imo (I mean, it's already 2 or 3 bullet kill on dretches, 1 or 2 bullet would be pretty cheap)

Hmm... I mean, you could change light armour's name to "medium armour" and then in s3 change the Rifle to "Rifle + light armour" (weaker than current light armour), but these changes would make people stay rifle/dretch to earn creds instead of taking a risk and buying one of the cheaper weps/evos first. Only alternative I'd thought of was to have late joiners get a few free creds/EP when they join, but I'm guessing there would be easy ways to abuse that.

Your way off. Rifle does 5pts of damage per bullet and thus needs 5 hits to kill a Dretch.

u can go adv everything in the game adv tyrants(they cant advance either)
oh but to fight the adv tyrant u need adv batllesuit and adv lucys

the fact aliens mostly rock hummies ass is because of the players playing alien

I think I've got the perfect idea for an Adv Dretch. After all, what is the most important thing for a dretch ? It's its fast speed that makes it hard to hit. Thinking about that, the solution is evident ! The Adv Dretch should be x1000 faster than a Dretch ! Think of all the implications ! This is the perfect solution.

( but please, make it optional, I prefet to keep my regular Dretch myself )

And my bad, just checked up on the stats thread, it IS 5 damage per bullet.. But I could swear I usually go from 25 to 15 hp, I guess it's just easy for 2 bullets to hit in a row
