Is it possible to have a teammates location remain visible for a while after he dies? Maybe just for the time he's in spawn queue. I think it would be useful to know where a teammate died and where the person who killed him is.

Another use to this idea. If you don't know where your teammate was building front/new base or assaulting enemy (secondary) base, maybe you have chance to tip the scales for your teams favor. Seems peculiar, but possible.

Yes, there are many uses. I don't think there are any reasons not to do it, I'm just not very tech savvy to do it myself .
