next time I'll have to look into this "dodge" "sprint" and "talking across the internet through ear muffs" you speak about.

anyways they were really close games, I'd almost call it a tie.  Good job team :)

Wtf is tremulous?
it is the voice inside your head
and it controls you
it is the granger in your bed
and it controls you
it is the needle in your vein
and it controls you
it is the high you can't sustain
and it controls you
it is the bullet in the gun
and it controls you
it is the truth from which you run
and it controls you
it is the silencing machine
and it controls you
it is the end of all your dreams
and it controls you
it is the turret in your base
and it controls you
it is the endless violent race
and it controls you
it is the basihat ahead
and it controls you
it is the granger sex you've had
and it controls you

enough stamina; run away
leave all your teammates to decay
build an RC over the ledge
camping on the razor's edge

it is the lonely overman
and it controls you
it is the mara and tiran
and it controls you
it is the challenge for the dretch
and it controls you
it is the hitscan you can't catch
and it controls you
it is the base in window room
and it controls you
it is the ancestry of gloom
and it controls you
it is the place for trolling much
and it controls you
it is the stupid teammate's clutch
and it controls you
it is the server in your home

It's almost time for Week 2 matches. Remember, this is a round robin tournament, so even if you lost in the first week, it's not over yet and there is still a chance to make it to the finals. The finals will be the top four teams from the round robin tournament.

After steamrolling NoS, we had a much more lengthy match against {261}. It lasted over two hours, and I believe in all four games, both sides reached stage 3. We had me, F50, Kynes, Pazuzu and Lucid. I don't exactly recall who {261} had, but they did have Qata.

First map was Niveus. GT lost both rounds after about a half hour each.

Second map was Karith. GT won the first round, as humans, using a very lol skybase. The second round, as aliens, we tied. I think if we had a few more minutes we might've been able to destroy the highly weakened human base, but that's irrelevant now. {261} beat GT 2-1.

Good game, {261}! We almost tied you, and we hope to see you in the semi-finals.

Here was our lol skybase:

The scoring system has been slightly updated. Celestial originally intended it to be per individual round, not for the overall game. Thus..

For the moment, GT and {261} are tied for first place. Of course, other clans have their matches schedule for this weekend, so it won't be that way for very long.

You can check out the current rankings here, with the updated scoring system:

.ddos just had its match against NoS.

All four rounds were won by .ddos. The first map was Niveus, and the second was Thanatos. Yarou subbed for a NoS member when one of them left.

+12 points to .ddos.

Hello,

Today, there was a scheduled match against :CaD: at 1pm PST, however, due to the unavailability of players, I talked with Yarou and we scheduled our match later today, 7pm PST, which he accepted. Unfortunately, no one showed up(:CaD: members) and when I checked on the site, it says we had lost games we hadn't even played. Multiple :CaD: members were present when me and Yarou had this discussion, so, I request a correction to the site, and an actual match in order to decide the winner.

Best Regards,

DSPro|Ethereal.

I made it quite clear that matches could only be moved up. If your team doesn't make the first match and CaD produces the members, you will automatically forfeit the round.

It strikes me as fantastically stupid to only be able to move matches up, not back...

Well, we have all the round robin matches available online and what week. By default, they will be on a Sunday, it shouldn't take too much preparation to check when your match is going to be and make arrangements. And the problem with postponing is that matches tend to keep getting postponed. Matches will only be postponed under very special circumstances.

Honestly, I don't think Cadence should have to forfeit the match if they are willing to do a rematch at a time that works for everyone.  I think everyone agrees that a game is better than a forfeit.

Cadence didn't forfeit, DSPro did.

Cadence didn't forfeit, DSPro did.
At this point, I don't think anyone has forfeited.  The facts are:
1) There was an agreed upon time between DSPro and Cadence.
2) Cadence didn't show up to that agreed upon time.

You guys didn't show up at 4 PM, we waited for you guys (after Lecavalier said he was waiting on a fourth) for a long time before leaving our server to watch NoS vs. ddos. Celestial Rage has pointed out numerous times that matches cannot be postponed, not sure why you can't comprehend that.

It sounds like I've missed out on some of this, so I'll just give my perspective:

We waited for DSPro throughout Sunday and they didn't show up.

If the rule is that matches can't be moved up then no agreement between two people can change that. If everyone agrees the rule is disrupting an already bad situation then I'd hope we can change the rule (or at least make an exception).

I would be glad to play the match since after two weeks in this tournament I still haven't actually played.

We waited for DSPro throughout Sunday and they didn't show up.

There was really no need to wait around all Sunday - just show up at the time you agreed.  I think there is confusion here because someone on Cad didn't tell the rest of the team the time the match was to start.

As for the comments about not being able to postpone - I'm sure other matches have started past the originally arranged time when both clans have agreed - even if only for ten minutes.  Should these delayed games also be forfeit although both clans agreed?  If you are going to create a principle, then don't pick and choose when to apply it.
