Can't run GTK, crashes after loading
« on: August 08, 2006, 08:49:20 am »
Not sure if this is a stupid mistake on my part.

I followed the directions on the Tremulous Mapping Guide to load Tremulous on to GTK. After I finished following those directions, I loaded up GTK, but it crashed after I selected the game.

I don't know what's wrong, new to map making, help would be appreciated.

- Wrong forum
- GTK is the "Gimp ToolKit" and not a programm that crashes.
- too few informations to answer anything.

-the perfect right forum
-doesnt matter
-yes indeed

give him a chance guys, its not like anyone was born mapping and computing.

I would suggest you to read the gtk-radiant MANUAL and maybe go to some gtkradiant FORUMS, there help will be more qualified.

most ppl when mapping in trem and reffer to GTK. they always are reffering to GTKRadiant ~ get used to it

your most likely having the same issue i did the probelem is actually on your part, umm... its in those files you had to copy into trem and GTK

go back to the page that you got them from and don't copy and paste instead 'right click' 'save as' and same it as what ever it is as a '.txt' file
like this~

on the '.game' section right click on 'here' link and save as
trem.game

thats hoping you can see the file extentions
do you know what they are?
