Beginner I need help please ! READ THIS!

Hello I started getting into tremulous and its very enjoyable. Well my question is how come my computer doesn't load tree cannon and other maps. It kinda sucks because I want to be able to play at those new places. Please help! More detail is it doesn't load the map and it goes to the tremulous home while in game and says that treecannon cannot be loaded or something like that. Thanks.

To pull down the console is easy. But most people don't really understand. Its best to give the tutorial in a visual way:

Or you could say "Tilde" AKA "~" ...

Like i said, not many people know what a 'Tilde' is, and you can't type "`" or "~" in-game unless you bound '`' to another thing, and press shift+~ to enter the console. (never tried it)

I set a cvar to '~' in my autoexec, so if I ever need to use it, I have \$tilde\. Very handy for explaining to noobs, and ASCII genitals.
