Weapons humans have no god-given right to use in the base.

Humans, as we have all noticed, have the capacity to be complete and utter idiots.
Here is a list of weapons humans should not use in their own base:
 -Flamers
 -P-rifles
 -Lucifers
 -Nades

All of these are AoE and normally pretty damn good guns, however the potential to tk your buildings and other players is too great to defend with them.

Any thoughts/ other guns that shouldn't be used in the base?

i thought the pulse rifle differed from the q3 default plasma gun in the fact that it does not have splash.

For all of those above weapons, in the right hands, they can be very effective base defenders, however, most players will end up tk'ing the RC.

If you're good/about to charge, then go ahead. But a substantial of the time, the guys defending are the ones who don't have the balls to go attack, and this is for those players.

I included the p-rifle mostly because I've seen it shoot through thing like thin walls and corners, and the chance of tk'ing anything is too high with it.

Eh just shoot a bead of pulse above the rc and that works for the hoppers, otherwise it's only good for close stuff in base like a rant.
