stupid votes

y is it that when a side starts to lose, people start to vote for changin map? y dont people just play the map and finish it. and then u get the people who try to kick u because u deconned something to get more buildin points.
what is the actual point of votes, as ive only seen about 2 votes ever passed out of about 100.
so is there any point?

The pole question isnt all that specific..Poles, IMO, are neccesary for jackass Noobs, and Noob deconners/builders...Although poles made for sore losers who want to change the map are pointless, same as the poles made to kick good players. I was playing on DARKLURKERSLAIR yesterday and SCInis (or something like that) was kicked for being a good player..retarded.

Votes are a good thing... Stupid votes of course are a bad thing

As for polls, they can be good too. It all depends on the specific situation but generally, if the vote gets passed then the vote was for a good reason. If the vote doesn't pass, the vote illustrated that fact and so was still. If someone likes making stupid votes a little too much, it's the person who's annoying not the vote system. Such people are normally voted off with any luck, he won't like votes after that.

Why, because we shut down most every vote because we cannot limit it to specific types.
People vote too much anyway, they should have admins handle the server.
