I know I'm supposed to post this in the "Non-Gameplay changing" section but as they don't get many views nor comments, I'm trying here.
=============================================================================================What is Silv3rLight's Skins?=============================================================================================There are different versions of Silv3rLight's Skin from V1 to actually V9.
These verisons of Silv3rLight's Skins are meant to change Tremulous, without changing it in any way the gameplay.
It globally changes textures and sounds (as well for humans and aliens).
It will only works on "un-pure" servers (such as IntoTheWild) or if the server allows it.
You should ask the guy who owns the server to add the .PK3 file to the server I'm currently asking to all server owners to add the .PK3 to their server, without forcing other players who connect to the server to download it!
If you have any question about it,
do not hesitate.
Also, I'd like anyone to give me a feedback (either positive or negative I really want to know if I can improve this mod so YOU can enjoy it the way you'll like it!). Give it a rate after playing it.
If you liked it, please tell your friends about it and also feel free to modify the .PK3 file as you wish.

Though if you would to download them I can still add a new mediafire link to it.=============================================================================================How can I install one of these mods?=============================================================================================It's very easy and simple.
1) Download the .PK3 file from one of the mods below.
2) If you already have another skin mod, please remove or save it elsewhere so it won't interfere the new mod in any way.
3) Place your new .PK3 file into this folder: "C:\Users\
[YOUR_USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Tremulous\base"; or you can also drop it into "C:\Program Files\Tremulous\base". In some cases one path may better work than the other, try them both if you don't know where to put your .PK3 file (Though I strongly recommend the first path!).
4) In case you can't find or open this folder, make sure you have allowed hidden folders on your computer.
=============================================================================================Version 9 [LATEST VERSION - 9th August 2012]=============================================================================================The file weights 98,74 MB.
Main features:
added shaders to the new skin, resulting in glowing items, buildings, weapons, etc. It makes the game looks really better. Added HD textures (1024*1024) to many models. I took some old textures from the V7 because it would fit with the new style (nano-tech, dynamic shields for human armors). I kept most of the sounds of V8. Now aliens are way more stealthy: darker and greener aliens (deleted all kinds of lava textures). The bigger the alien, the lesser he will be stealthy (Tyran has glowing kryptonite). Glowing kryptonite also on aliens structures, except for the most important structures (Overmind and Eggs).

Main features: Detailed texture for players (aliens and human), weapons, buildables and some other stuff. Humans are suited with green forest/jungle camouflage. Many sounds modified or added (You can now hear bullets fall on the floor from the chaingun for example). New GFX for Lucifer Cannon. Haven't done many modifications on aliens yet, they keep V7.1 skin. Background and music menu have been modified.

It also changes a bit human skin but nothing more compared to V7.
It is supposed to
look 2 times better than the original tremulous' textures. The .pk3 is a bit heavier than the standard one. But it's worth it
It may also drop your FPS, I don't know, it will only depends if you have a very very slow computer but I guess it will be fine for most of you guys.
Main features: Humans get nanosuit skin with a black and white pixelated camouflage. Battlesuit now looks as a detailed rusty armor and sound more like a mecha (thanks to BF 2142
) All weapons have an additional metal layer to make it look better and realistic. Aliens now have a detailed skin, quite like hard leather, with red and yellow stains. Blood is also detailed. Some sounds have been modified/added.
