Logitech G400 mouse and Tremulous? <SOLVED>
« on: November 05, 2011, 11:48:25 pm »
I just got a new gaming mouse! So happy! I plug it in, and right away boot up Tremulous. Then I suddenly stop smiling

So in Trem, sometimes the mouse just doesn't do anything when I move it, and I can't go diagonally without moving a TON
And it only registers fast movement, slow movement doesn't do anything. So I quit out, screaming, and open up some other games. Mouse works perfectly. Is there some fancy setting that doesn't let Trem work with this mouse? Please! HELLLP!

What it feels like is angle snapping is jacked up 1000 times worse than usual. Everything is fine up and down but the lines are completely straight... again, works in EVERY other game I've tried, INCLUDING Star Wars Jedi Academy, which runs the same engine. So it HAS to be a cvar specific to Tremulous that's causing the problem.

Okay, well I just fixed it. You have to download Logitech Gaming Software and disable mouse accel. Then it works fine in Trem. Yayyy! Now I can play with a ingame sensitivity of 4 and still have really fast movement! Yayy!
