Tremulous 1.1.0 problem

Ok so I installed tremulous 1.1.0 on my comuter which is Linux OS and when I try to run tremulous the words for play mods and exit pop up on the main menu for a second then disappear. Is there some way to fix this?

It probably went invisable. Try the arrow keys. If this is constant, and not a once-in-a-lifetime glitch, then ur trem is screwed. Download a different client e.i. tremfusion from tremfusion.net.
