An update for everyone who was promised their Trem user-name would appear in a future video; that IS still happening. Though the project has now become a feature-length film partially funded by a producer from HBO (...bull-TRUE!) which should (hopefully) start production after Christmas.

[Sorry about the double-post. Though, considering I was the last to post anything in "Off Topic" as a whole, hopefully it's not that big of a deal.]

I just wanted to thank everyone for watching my video. I'm still new at producing my own sketches and so feedback is vital. Also, I had no idea just how many people outside of the U.S. played Trem.

Now, I know what you're thinking: "An American who didn't know about stuff outside of America? What a rare breed."

But it's a cool discovery none the less because (despite the BBC reference in it's title) this sketch was very U.S.-centric and I never expected anyone that far outside of my little bubble would see it.

Though, now I'm pretty curious to know what you thought. Was the satirical nature obvious? Did it seem funny to you (or in general?)

Basically, what I'm asking is if anybody from one of the 16 other nations listed in the video's view-counter has any feedback they feel like sharing, I would love to hear it. (Americans are welcome to respond, as well. Just know that, as in reality, your opinion is becoming less and less important )

this is high praise coming from me, because i hate everything.

criticism:  the sketch as a whole seems very derivative.  basically, a hodgepodge of material ive heard or seen from stand up or other sketches rolled into one.

get passed that, and you have a great deal of potential.

Yeah, dude. Bill Shakespeare practically invented modern story telling, plus most of the words we use to tell them. I'd say British feedback is quite acceptable.

Thank you for the honest feedback, ND. That's not the first time someone has told me my work was funny but sounded vaguely like a stand-up bit they had already heard.

It's never conscious on my part but of course we're all pulling from the same well, so to speak. Either way, critique is always appreciated.

there's an idea for you.  you could give the ho treatment to a ho film.  excise the southeastern asian flick the ninjas or commandos or whatever are spliced into, and then film your own scenes without sound.

then get bad readers to dub the mess you splice together with the most whimsical of nonsensical plots.

bonus points for a shooting script full of nonsense, as used in kung pow, to made the dub even more "off".
