I mostly agree with you. It's a fair point that women are more capable than that titanic tale suggests. It's interesting how janev interpreted this protocol to indicate that they were of more value when it seems it was used as a reason for why men are so chivalrous that they are more deserving of the vote than women, valuing their voices less.
I didn't read the article no and I apologise as I don't have the time to read it in my break.
I personally see how you could value one person more than another other simply because know and like them. Value is a subjective thing after all. We just tend to agree as humans that certain things are worth more, even if there are some who disagree.
