I didn't bother to get the vid because my default is winamp and I can never see the videos in winamp just hear the sound. Anyways......for killing goons or tyrants with the saw you would normally be on defense. I.E A tyrant is charging into the base to take out a vital structure like a Defense comp or it is simply killing turrets. If it is killing turrets rev up your painsaw and rush into it cutting its chest up. If it charges into your base to kill the def comp you can simply get behind the tyrant and start sawing so it cant backup and if It turns around it should be dead by then( base defenses, other humans, your saw). If you want to see me doing this you can always go by beeergarden its the main server I play on.

It's a demo, not a video. You put it in your tremulous base/demos folder (make the folder if it doesn't exist), then in-game pull down console (~ button) and type /demo filename, in this case Chainsaw.

Also, you DO know it's "painsaw", right?

Edit: wow, the video is just Belier and Apika teamkilling their entire base with painsaws. They don't even kill a single alien, and the demo lasts about 1 minute. Can a mod delete this, all this thread is is Belier trying to make himself sound skilled at Trem.

I second the call for deletion, it's just Belier13 and a pal deconning a base. With painsaws. Ooooh, skills.

To be honest, it's a really good weapon. I'm near to unkillable when I use it, I even killed 2 tyrants in a row without getting hit.

I made a record :

Nice record. You represent everything that's wrong with the Tremulous playerbase.

We really, really, REALLY need more/more active moderators here. Just take the oldest, most trustworthy members and make 'em mods, it'd reduce the spam greatly and you can always remove their powers if they abuse them.

a good mod shouldnt need to use his powers, except vs retards like that spammer who just posted.

Thorn, I think the idea is that we'd have lots of passive mods who can delete stuff. Rather than a few inactive mods like we have at the moment.

Who do we consider "the oldest, most trustworthy members"?

People who have proven themselfs to be good people, calm, mature, etc.?

EDIT: and don't ask for it.

Can I be a moderator? PLEASE?
nything I do or say is probably extremely stupid, and likely to cause me embarrasment in the future.

tbh i would only use it nearer the end of a match where most of the Aliens are Tyrants, you come across a dretch or basi. and try to kill it with that....hm......

Wraith (the noob), from Tremulous, about 3 people know me, but I like it that way.
