why tremulousit is not on steam?
I'm an old player of tremulous and recently I tried natural selection 2 just because it reminded me tremulous, but playing it and I realized that it was quite another thing, unfortunately tremulous no longer populated as it was at the time that i played and bring on steam (in my opinion) the would give a new opportunity to emerge and be reborn, the players and the community would increase and maybe can will find new people willing interested to improve the game, to create maps and mods.
might not be a good idea?
trem is not on steam because valve takes issue with either GPL or FOSS games, i forget which.
and i am thankful trem is not on steam. ive seen what steam popularity does to the gameplay of a good free game.
jesus, people want everything done for them these days, even spreading word of mouth is too hard for people to do themselves.
you like threm and want more people to play, good, great. you tell people about it, dont complain that someone is not doing it for you.
