attack command gets stuck

hey all,
i just downloaded the game and its all fun and plays smooth except for 1 issue, sometimes the attack command gets stuck and the gun keeps firing until i click again, not very convenient when you have teammates around you... how can i fix this? any help appreciated

details ! have you played Tremulous before? which platform/OS are you using? which client program do you use? do you use any custom binds, particular ones that you've downloaded/borrowed from some public post?

Try these:
-fix your mouse
-Type in the console [press ` or ~ or shift+esc] and type "/bind mouse1 +attack" without the quotation marks. Just a check you haven't got the mouse as a toggle.
-Fix your computer - You may have accessibilities settings on (for slow, old people who struggle to click and drag)
-Don't use touchpads (laptops esp.)
