So I'm kinda amazed this game still exists. I used to play all day erry day. I think i might start playin again just wondering if theres still a clan presence or if its just randos and abusive mods still.

username != server count

To see someone's name beforehand you would have to be in the same server at the same time as that person. Based on the number of servers, the likelihood of that happening was very small.
