this is my first map, let me know wat u think. i know it sucks a far bit, and some textures are whacky..... and 1 door is see-thru......and.... theres a ramdom atcs bit in the middle...
any ways, this map was just a little test for me on how the program works.
o yea and btw... the elavtor.... it would move if i knew how to make it to lol

dunno , havent dowloaded yet because of the shitty download speeds of that place. i see you managed to get it to compile? the .map you sent me was full of map leaks so idk why it compiled for you.

i used the 1.5 radiant and did one or 2 more things to it.
the map will take about 10-15 mins to dl, not too long for a free hosting lol

Couple of nitpicks:

1) cola machine texture is backwards. This usually happens due to gtk screwing up or compressing a huge texture to a smaller surface. Try applying the texture to the face against the wall then rotate the brush so that face is pointed into the room. (may or may not fix, if it doesn't crack texture in  paintshop/photoshop and mirror it so when you use it the bug will make it display the proper orientation)

2) Floor and ceiling share texture. This is never a good thing unless it's a cave and even then it's a bit risque. Better off finding a nice floor texture.

3) If you need a good hoster get in touch with [db@]Megabyte and see if he can host it on tremulous.info.

firstly:

PEOPLE STOP POSTING THEIER MAPS WITHOUT COMPILING THEM WITH ANY SORT OF QUALITY: USE VIS, USE BOUNCE USE EVERYTHING TO MAKE THEM LOOK BETTER AND NOT RUN LIKE SHIT WHEN PPL ARE PLAYING THEM, THANKYOU

the map:

not as bad as some that are posted here, however, lighitng is bad, fullbright in parts and black in others, the map has some nice details tho, like the vending machines left open, how it will play, i will have to wait and see tho.

It looks fine but needs some working with lighting and that annoying blinking floor (at the start view of spectator).

And that fileplanet doesnt work and rapidshare sucks so you can download it here (Didn't add it to tremmapdownload yet, its not ready map).

I guess tremulous.info wont host it yet, its not ready map yet.

not bad
textures need some work
the open soda machine is not realistic
either you can close it or detail it
and eq2(atcs) fan shader does not fit with the other textures

Unless I am mistaken, megabite is away until Sunday due to a LAN party, so don't expect any major updates at tremulous.info. I'm sort of "holding down the fort", as it were, and do not have access to add new downloads.
