I had this wierd idea that if there was a mod  that allowed humans to control the rets so that they could shoot down the aliens as if they had a pulse rifle with reduced damage but has splash damage then it would make gameplay more fun as the rets could have range more than normal when a human controls it and an alien could kill the human without messing with the ret and also could kill the human by wrecking the ret so that it blasts and damages him. If anyone has such a mod or wants to make please tell me so that I can experience such an interesting mod and gun some aliens down JUST FOR FUN because (your idea here)...OK THEN

no, but i've certainly seen it. maybe it's on one or more of the [][][][] servers.
It's on ___'s mod, which afaik isn't currently available. Since the turret fired as much possible for every server frame it literally dealt around 800 dps iirc.

There's an easy fix for it but the modder didn't apply it and games became severely unbalanced whenever there's a blaster camper controlling a turret.

I'm not quite sure why it isn't popular though.

Iirc, there were other modifications such as being able to literally 'deconstruct' enemies, but deconstruction isn't lag-compensated so I remember struggling in a granger vs ckit match with 350 ping.

Put a  :granger: ontop of a  :turret: and make it into a mod
