Mapping Software for Mac
« on: August 21, 2006, 12:50:37 am »
Is there any software to make Trem maps for the Mac? I would like to try out making maps, and with a Mac I don't know what software, if any, to use. If anybody sees tjw sometime soon ask him to port a mapping system for the Macintosh. Thanks!

gtkradiant (the software everyone else uses) is supposed to be available for macs (with a rather ugly installation process), but it looks like id's website is missing one of the files because their host didn't do backups.

My only problem with the Mac Gkradiant, is setting it up for tremulous.  I continually get errors, and once or twice the console just died.  Which is very disconcerting to be sure.  Does anyone know the proper way to set up the MAC version for Tremulous, as I can't seem to do it correctly.

Thanks

You know you just revived a six month old thread?
Anyway, follow the instructions in http://www.tremulous.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2179&highlight=mac and you should do okay.
