few problems, help me please

I have few problems with game:

1: when I click on "mods" button in main menu, so in opened window is not anything, only black (grey) place.

2: I sometime after press refresh servers dont see any server and low is something like loading -1 servers. I always must restart game if this happen.

3: sometime game get stuck for about second and after unfreeze is all dark and grey. It is not problem of my monitor because other games dont do it. I can repair it only if I restart game or if I click to any place in window opened when click on "mods" in main menu (see also my problem with "mods" button on top my post).

1. Do you have mods installed? If no, then dont expect it to be filled out.

2. Do you lag? Are on on a slow connection like dialup? if so, then thats the problem, if not, its your firewall. Try forwarding ports or w/e if u have problem joining.

3. Thats a server problem, it sometimes freezes, or atleast for me. Maybe I dont understand that... anyway, its something with your comp, or the server. Could be firewall, not surprized if it is. Or could be something with server... as I said...

EDIT - OK this is fucked up, I cant play... I see 0 servers... WTF is Trem down?

add to 2nd answer: but why after that stuck is all dark ... when I change brightness in options (or only touch it), is all like before freeze. that is not problem of connection (btw. I have ADSL connection and have not firewall)

1. Get a firewall, like zonealarm http://www.zonelabs.com
2. This problem is probably with your display card or it's drivers, updating drivers usually help (I got something like +10fps after updating drivers )

Maybe some other application changes your screen brigthness?

I plays in fullscreen and when I play, I have not other applications running (without system ) )

Hmmz.. Try checking temperatures of your computer when it doest that thing, maybe the card warms too much (sounds strange with that effect, but better to be sure)?

.... I can't believe noone has asked.. but it isn't setting your list to LAN instead of internet is it?

As far as the screen thing.. dark gray in game only?.. If you kill the game does it stay dark gray?.. Is it the game or the light in the monitor, or the gamma? Alt enter out of trem if it happens then go back in and see if that cures anything. See if you can get it to do it in windowed mode as well.
