Two ideas for the humans

The first idea, is a building for the humans, a radar jammer, so that whenever aliens get anywhere near it, it disables the alien "radar". the distance should be the distance the aliens can reach plus half of that again. Should be available at s2 I think.. ;)

The next one, is a bit like the above one, except it is not a building. It is an upgrade, and it is stored in a backpack.(no using jetpack, battery pack, battlesuit with this baby) It makes it so that cannot be seen on enemy radar - the blue dot just doesn't appear. Does not affect grangers/adv. grangers(/dretch maybe)? Available at s2 and costs about 200-300ish? Maybe when the human gets harmed from acid, or any of those alien defence structures, the acid shorts it out for a couple of seconds? :D

Comments? Criticism? Pie?

The radar is an essential tool for aliens, i'm not sure if it wise to mess with it in any way.
Also, if you do, you must cripple the human helmet in the same way.

whats about giving the humans the helmet of invisiblity which not only makes them dissapear from radar but makes tehm invisble at all. To balance this thing out, you might remove the visor from it so the human cant see anything either...

Yea, and tyrants should be able to fly over turrets and shoot acid that does splash damage to buildings and humans of 100.

The radar is there for a reason. It prevents scenarios where a base falls, but a single player is able to hide in a dark corner for the rest of the game.

If you want to mess with it, at least it make it reactor/DC dependant like the jetpack. And even then, it's not really justified. What's wrong at the moment?

Ok - it was just a thought. ;) Although, I think this doesn't need balancing with the fact that the helmet takes half a second to refresh. o.o Ok, not quite half a second...

Need radar.. jamming is a bad idea... unless you plan to give the aliens something.. like letting them see through walls.. but non crucial and creates a balancing issue that can be avoided simply by not doing it.

you mean sniper rifle that does luci comparable damage, but is hitscan and has unlimited ammo

How about letting dretches and stuff burrow into humans, and take control of them, like the flood do in halo. It could even have a texture, say the human gets covered in creep.

I think a lightsaber would be much cooler.
