Baa baa black sheep, have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full!
One for the master, one for the dame,
And one for the little boy who lives down the lane.
Care to elaborate on the racism?
this "song" was made around the time when 'black' ppl where slaves to 'white' ppl and did the cooking and cleaning (often a female) and the male would often chop fire wood look after the animals and stuff like that 'white' ppl treateded them like property and often disrespected them and since they followed there 'owners' around like sheep
thats why its, Ba Ba *Black sheep*
have you any wool? which is asking have you done your work. but its wool to match the 'sheep' idea.
the 'sheep' replies "Yes Sir, Yes Sir Three bags full" i think that explains its self NOTE the 'Yes Sir' is repeted twice to show that hes submisive to his master.
then it ends with him explaining that the bags of wool are for his masters family and not him self.
AND 'Ring around the rosie' is about the *Black Plague*
should i explain?
