I like saying Trembot instead of the new name. It sounds better.

Worked first time for me and I would be considered a bit of a rookie (noob) as a server admin, but am experienced in the old ways of DOS.  I assume you are using a Windows OS and have no experience with command line interface.  You need to run it from a DOS prompt and creating a batch file is the easiest way to go.

Without being a little more specific, there is not much that can be done.

1) make the directory:
\Documents and Settings\YOU\Local Settings\Application Data\Tremulous\base\vm
  where "YOU" is your windows username.
If your Windows is installed on C drive (that's the default), go to start menu -> Run.. -> type in: "cmd" (without "s) -> type in: "explorer C:\Documents and Settings\YOU\Local Settings\Application Data\Tremulous\base\" (Change YOU to your login name) then create directory called vm.

2) copy game.qvm into this "vm" directory
Copy game.qvm (which you have downloaded from http://tjw.org/tremulous/) in the directory.

3) copy win32/tremded.exe to where Tremulous is installed.
  (next to tremulous.exe)
Go to Tremulous main dir (normally c:\program files\tremulous\) and copy tremded.exe (which you have downloaded from http://tjw.org/tremulous/win32/)

4) open up a command prompt (cmd.exe)
Use that promt which you opened from run with command "cmd"

5) change to the directory where you put tremded.exe
Change directory to tremulous main dir (by default "cd c:\program files\tremulous")

6) run it:
   tremded.exe +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg
Type to promt: "tremded +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg"

with TJW's stuff you can give users power without having to give out the rcon password.
different people can have different powers, like kicking and banning, changing the map, rigging votes, renaming people, and stuff.
all the admins need TJW's modified client.

Apart form a few extra gameplay features, TJW's server binaries have all patches standard 1.1.0 binaries don't have. And those patches fix some really nasty and annoying bugs.
