Acording to timbo's rules, all these senseless-random-crap threads are ok. As long as it's not self-promoting spam i guess. It wouldn't hurt anyone if we had some less offtopicness in the offtopic forums though.

I definitly agree with PIE. Off-Topic means "not Trem-related". It doesn t mean "mindless spam". I think this topic can be considered as spam...it adds posts for no real purposes other than adding posts. Half of the topics in off-topic are like that, and its not gonna decrease if no one do something. When there was no off-topic session, people didn t post such things. So maybe a discussion to set some new rules of moderation is necessary.

I think maybe you've got the wrong idea.

The general forum rules should be followed. Anything not related to Tremulous should be posted here, as long as it's not blatent spam (by bot or human).

I'd prefer it if this sub-forum was less spammy.
