On your keyboard there is this large key at the bottom in the middle.
Its called the 'space bar'
You should learn how to use it before posting again.

Or better still, just pack your computer back into the box it cam in, and take it back to the store.
Tell them there was an ID-10-T error or a Layer 8 error. They'll know what to do.

331 trem
311 warsow
Don't worry about more noobs trying out trem. After the initial frustration they will all be competent players and a larger number of players can only give goodness (Maps, mods, reviews, rating, support, community websites etc)
This is serious stuff!

This poll means nothing at all...both sides cheated.
I would like the webmasters to clean the false votes so that we can really see who won the poll (if we compare players base, Tremulous should be the better one by far).

Stop haxoring the poll!
You can't cheat at voting!
If we have more votes from people voting more than once it simply means they are more dedicated and hence love the game more!
Don't stop voting! We shall crush them into the ground and then rub it in their faces that they didn't vote harder!

So I saw that Warsow was doing good in the polls like Trem. So I was like, wow that must also be a popular game, let me go check it out.

I installed it. Looked good so far. Then I did my config. OK, I was ready to play. When I brought up the server list NOT ONE PERSON WAS PLAYING. Did I miss something?

No, from my experience the average amount of active Warsow players visible in the ingame server browser has never been above 20.

There are several factors involved. First, the ingame browser is half-broken in 0.12 version, and it only shows a small bunch of servers (there are 300 warsow servers). Anyway, Warsow is quite inactive lately, there was usually between 100 and 200 players a few weeks after the release, but when CPL anounced the return of Q3 this dropped a lot, and since then the numbers have been decreasing. There is still a lot of activity in the forums so I guess many people is just waiting for the next release (which is scheduled for today at night). I'd tell you to give it a try tomorrow, you'll find games for sure.

see Warsow servers listed

Anyway, I'm not sure up to what point a Tremulous player will enjoy Warsow (it probably depends on what did you play before Trem), they are games with very different phylosophies.

BTW, I can't say I enjoyed this poll fight since I'm a Warsow coder who has been playing a lot of Trem recently. I don't  like seeing players from one game calling names to the players of the other game. Doesn't matter much tho, since I never took the poll seriously :)

"This is the full install Windows executable version of WQ3"

sure sounds like a standalone

2.1 Getting started

First of all you will have to download the WesternQuake3 Base files, which you can find on the official webpages. The latest version is Beta 2.1. To play online, you will need all files for your operating system located22 in the "WesternQuake3 Mod" section of the webpages. You will also need the latest Quake3 Arena version (currently 1.32) to be able to start WQ3.

I did try to install Warsow a while back.

All I got for a title screen was a bunch of random grey rectangles.
