"clear console" command?
« on: September 17, 2006, 04:08:36 pm »
Is there a command to clear the console, or at least clear the in-game messages? For my builder binds I'd like to make a menu where all the structures are listed in faded font and the selected one in a vivid one, but without a cls command that would flood the screen with messages.

And no, cls doesn't seem to work.

Thanks!

the current hack is to print out enough lines that all the old ones are pushed out, but menu systems aren't really that useful for your own binds, you memorise them and then it's just spam.

Ok let's plan it out. Asva, you are nub, go sit on rets, I will build, you two go feed like hell, you go pwn their asses, and everyone else camp in the hallway, roger?

Yea, seriously, try what you think works.
/clear clears the console, no questions asked.

There we go, I'll try that. Someone had told me it was /cls, which didn't work.

And yes, that's the whole point of them: to memorize them, then remove them once I remember. :P
