We were playing on a server today and one player (Ede) had an uncanny aim. Lots of players were crying foul and saying he used an aimbot. I started recording a demo of me spectating him. I'm not sure he is aimbotting on the map I recorded, but here is a demo of him playing. See for yourself.

I suspect if he is this good a player then some of you know him and will stick up for him, thats cool. I just wanted to post this demo for fun.

I may do this more often when players complain about cheaters, I'll just record a demo and put a link to it in the forums so others can decide.

It doesn't look like an aimbot at all! Just bad aliens against a good player.

he is lame, run to alien base with 50 hp, aims all over the place with lasgun, he even let basi get his ASS while wearing a hat
but aliens were 10 times more lame than he, not aiming for the head, not map aware

blah, that guy even took shotgun for a egg/last aliens hunt = not to smart

As Rasz stated, definetely not cheating. His aim wasn't that good, but dretches had really bad aim. Or they just have a feet fetish, who knows.

He does have ok-ish movement skills though which is a very important skill for humans :)

ok movement and ok aim with lasgun... but common 30 10? that isn't cheat... that is newbie :eek:

the people he was playing against sucked... i just fast forwarded through most parts but i didn't see him fight anything bigger then basilisk so the alien team was pretty crap.

i played with him in the same server with almost same players. And we played at ATCS and a lot of people said he was cheating and he has been banned. I don't believe he was cheating. Just lame aliens. Like, I would have done better as that basilisk than that player. I mean, jumpuing around as a basilisk? LAME!
Also, Juicy is a weirdo. Just to say it  :P . He has been banned three times HAH

I've been accused of cheating several times... although my aim is less than ideal , mediocre even. But people don't seem to realize that hitting a large , slow moving dragoon with the lasgun is not hard :P

well i've been around servers and all that, yeah they're just shitty (excuse the language) aliens against good humies. doubt he's aimbotting; really, hitting a goon isn't THAT hard, big targets.
