making server ADMIN on trem servers...

ok i click on tremulous, the game opens up and i click play, then i got to play and hit pure server: yes


then i get in-game and do !admintest and nothing at all happens ... . i have the tjw omd cause i'm a mod on my clan server (lvl 3). But i want to know if i can get admin on a trem server ?

You need to use tjw's server mod too, get it from http://www.tjw.org/tremulous/ and read http://www.tjw.org/tremulous/SETUP.txt

Just because people viewed your post does not mean they have the answer you are looking for.  My server is started from command line and is administered locally so even though I am a server admin, I have no idea what you are talking about.

So you go out there and connect to some server, get ingame and expect to get an admin-lvl?
Just because you've got lvl3 on some clan-server?

Then perhaps your clan can help you.  I'm pretty sure you have to set up admin privilidges, as they're not automatic (as you have discovered).  I'm sure that someone in your clan could at least point in the right direction.

And while I know that you've already tried the search option, you might just be looking under the wrong thing.  I find it incredibly hard to believe that you would be the first person to ask this question on the forums.  Try being less specific, perhaps?

To me it seems I get more fresh air while out of my cave than a certain sick samurai that has not even read the manual of the tool he wants to use.

To my knowledge the TJW admin commands (!admintest, !kick, etc.) only apply to servers running TJW's tremded. Not the in-game server.
