What has been your funniest game ever. Its pretty self explanatory.

Mine was when my friend (playing alien), told the humans to "decon your turrets".  They did.  :P  :D

Anyone else got a funny story they want to share?

when i was playing humans on karith.

it was really close to timelimit and i ran to elev room. 1 tyrant was on me. then that tyrant started to jump up the elevator, he failed. meanwhile im hitting him with a blaster, while the tyrant keeps jumping for 5 minutes straight

SST Tremulous on nexus six. i had built eggs and tubes right by the humie base, and we were so awesome we got to stage three while they were on one, thanks to me and some other players. i went advanced dragoon and sniped 19+ people in one life because they didn't have any armor. tyrant wasn't as fun, because you didn't get the satisfaction of standing a safe distance away from an noob and watching him go flying back

I had a similar experience.  It was ATCS, and I was the last human left.  A tyrant attacked the human base (or lack thereof), but I escaped it for about 5 minutes by jumping, ducking, weaving and getting it trapped on walls.  It was so funny.  Doesn't sound like it, but it was.

I was on ATCS playing humans. I went out through the main entrance and noticed the two goons waiting to pounce. I quickly backpedaled back inside and they pounced into each other(ff was on). I managed to gun them down before they got away, too :D

i dont know the server, but i think the map was "corrupted tunnels" or something... anyways, we were really losing, they were s3 and we were s2. We were just playing around too. And I bought grenade and ran and threw the grenade at the base and died, then i watched as i died two grangers, three dretches, and one goon exploding. It was funny. I did some more times until I left XD

It was one of those servers where the playerlimit is set at a certain number, and you can only spectate after it passes that point.

I was pissed off and was floating around as a spectator.

I noticed that a human had a Ckit equipped and was standing over the reactor, waiting for his cue to decon.

So, I said "decon reactor now!" and he deconned it.

Ok, the single best game of tremulous I've ever played started out as a two on two match: Me and Phreak (who sometimes wears the Nex tag), versus Tremma and I believe Kobra. It took place on Tremor. So early on, I'd say maybe ten or fifteen minutes tops, we goon the base and manage to take about everything out. I see Tremma running away as he slips down to the basement but by that time I'm tyrant and cannot follow. Had I done so, I would not have been able to get back up since there was no dretch on the team, and Tremma would of course had immediately climbed the ladder back up.

I go back to human base and take out the reactor in an attempt to reach the other human hiding behind it - despite Phreak warning me not to give them the chance to rebuild. Then I went back to hunt down the survivor, and for a moment I thought we had won. It wasn't until my roomate asked me why the game wasn't ending that I noticed the humans must have rebuilt somewhere.

We run to the crate room as fast as we can, but it's too late. Three or four turrets are up and we simply can't destroy them and heal faster than they can rebuild them. By this time it was two against three, so base raids were even harder, despite the fact that we could literally stay safe ten feet away from them behind a wall. We might have been able to penetrate the base had they not reached stage two ten minutes later. From that point on it was all downhill.

Now you have to understand, we continuously attacked for a long time, as fast as our alien bodies could handle without dying, but it was no use. Later on more people joined each team and the game was more of a 6v6. Finally, we feed them to stage three and they start attacking the overmind. From here it's still roughly even, until Tremma raids the base. Now the sick thing is, Phreak told me to stick around and defend, but I instead left to search the underground tunnels as adv goon for Tremma. I find him outside alien's front door, but I had forgotten that adv goon is too big to fit through the opening! It was too late.

And yet despite this, Phreak managed to rush the armory damaging it considerably, and I managed to finish it off. So neither team could advance beyond their simplest forms, in stage three and sudden death! I suppose this is a situation that aliens cannot win since dretches can't kill spawns, but at the time I thought we had a reasonable shot of holding our own.

"There's no way they can get our spawns in time", I think to myself, just as I die and am shocked to find that there's only one egg left. I spawn in it and am immediately killed. I race to spawn again but the egg is destroyed seconds too soon. Eventually, only one alien is left alive - a maurauder - and two minutes are on the clock before the timelimit. Every teammember is beside himself with anxiety - I for one chose not to become a spectator, so every twenty seconds or so I'd see the maurader race through our base and leave the other side, trailed by three or four riflemen and screaming all the way. It was quite funny and scary at the same time.

Timelimit hit. The best game I've ever played ends in a draw. But it is the single best-deserved draw there ever was. None of this game-called-on-account-of-campspam crap, but a real, legitimate match.

A big thanks to my fellow Nexers - Phreak and Tremma - for the game.

I'll agree with Work. That was a wicked fun game although had we only though for a second there, they wouldn't have had the chance to rebuild. But had they not, game wouldn't have been so fun ;)

Funniest thing is Tremma.
We're attacking they base with tyrants, sure that all the hummies are accounted for when a sudden "Overmind is dying" screams at my ear. I knew it was monkey tremma with his saw. So work and I rush back to find Tremma hiding and OM gone.

GG Nex.
Always fun playing with/against fellow Nex'ers

Some trem games can be really really fun.

ATCS, aliens, defnitely losing, constant bsuits charging base, etc, etc, etc. we were s3 but didn't have the evos, and everyone was more onto defending the bsuit-infested base. i managed to run out as dretch, then evolved to mara, and entered hummie base (from side entrance) Guess what? It was empty! :D just the base itself and a single bsuit. I ignored bsuit, thinking i'd get killed anyway, jumped on reactor and swiped away. bsuit didn't even notice till i was halfway through rector, and then started rifling me xD  :D I died, but took reac down with me, and a couple of teammessages later tyrants stormed in and we won! xD XD XD  :D  :D  :D

I was playing humans on Nexus6. we were mostly noob team, including myself, and is it happened we were still at S1 as the aliens were already at S3.

At this stage we were mostly camping and holding off multiple alien attacks, which really got the aliens mad.

One the humans then begged the aliens to let him kill them, so humans can reach S2 and he can demostrate his anti-camping trick.

As soon as we got to S2, that guy threw a grenade right into our base. Most of the campers were killed by the grenade, and those who survived where woulded or killed by secondary explosions(Turrets etc).

Aliens had very little to do afterwards :D

It was ATCS, and I was armed with Hamet/Armour, Painsaw, and a grenade.

I was seeking for eggs in the outside bunker, when a caught the attention of a tryant.

He rushed to attack me, and while I could not defend myself with the painsaw, just before death, I threw the gernade, which fell near the exit.

The tryant did not see the grenade on his retreat path, and from the "dead man" position I saw it exploding on the exact moment as he passed there.

1. Towards the beginning of Transit, on AKKA. I forget who it was on the alien team, but someone said "ok decon reac now, hurry". Then Malta proceeded to decon the reactor. o_O We lost.

2. Pretty straight-forward, it was just a goon slaughterfest on Arachnid. I got like 20+ kills in the first 5 minutes of the game, killing unarmoured humans one after the other as a goon. I think I died twice total, and by 8 mins or so the rest of my team was able to attack their base with basis and marauders, ending the game. Mostly, the humans were just really n00b, but I still enjoyed leading my entire team to victory that once ^^

I remember the game where I made a name for myself. Yes, I can track down the exact game where I became known.

I came into an SST Game about 15 minutes near the end. I became Alien. We were trapped in the window room in Niveus. Teslas and BS were outside, and torrents of lucy and PR shots flowed through the door. We were only just S2. I asked to my team "How did this happen?" All I got was panicked responses of "We're being crushed!". I decide that something needed to be done. FAST. I asked "How many of you are new to Tremulous?" almost 80% of the team said they were on or near their first game. I know, that usually never happens to Aliens, but there it was.

I began to deliver a Speech. I don't quite remember the words, but it was wordy and pretty heroic. I rallied my team, and told them to say "Death!!!" and charge when I gave the order.

WE HAVE EVOLVED.

"DEATH!!!" In a sudden and unbelieveably vicious charge, Several Tyrants lead and adv. goons led the charge, with hordes of Dretch , basi, maras, and goons behind us. I lead the Charge personally. Literally, in seconds, the Teslas, and about 5 BattleSuits perished. The group all pulled to the right, and we soon came roaring towards their base in a flood of carnage and terror. By now, the Human Public chat was flooded with "WTF?" and "What happened?"

I halted occasionally to continue rallying the brave troops. In around 5 minutes, the entire Human side was eliminated. Not a single man made it out of the base alive.

At the finish screen, the entire Alien team was Cheering. "WE DID IT!!!" "YEAH!!!" "COOOOOOME BACK!!!" I told all of them in Team Chat that I was proud of them, and joined in on the celebration.

From then on, several people have said Hello whenever I get on SST, and occasionally ask me for strategic advice. Perhaps there is someone here who remembers that game?

Some games that are more fun than funny are where they move the reactor first to some far away location and as an alien you just sit there and guard it from the human team, sort of like a mirrored game of trem.

I've had some similar to yours Ventris but they didn't really join in and they just kept saying stuff like 'oh this is so unbalanced' and whatever, going on about how they're all going to lose. Then you just go explore and find its a totally noob human team and wipe them out with a marauder.

It was a game yesterday on The Trem Base in ATCS.
I was on the human team S3 and we were attacking a bit, when a guy namen "You" joined. He became a builder and deconned the armoury and telenodes.
Everybody was screaming and swearing. He replied: "I'm the only builder, so i decide". :-?
He built some more turrets and teslas, but the rest of the team was running out of ammo. We had to fight of goons with blasters. There were only a few living players left (I myself had died and could not spawn), when all the dead humans started shouting: "SHOOT HIM!" "DIE YOU!" "KILL HIM NOW! SHOOT HIM". He was finally shot and was kicked by BAMBAM.

Ok, the single best game of tremulous I've ever played started out as a two on two match: Me and Phreak (who sometimes wears the Nex tag), versus Tremma and I believe Kobra.
....It wasn't until my roomate asked me why the game wasn't ending that I noticed the humans must have rebuilt somewhere.

We run to the crate room as fast as we can, but it's too late. Three or four turrets are up and we simply can't destroy them and heal faster than they can rebuild them.

First off all, this was indeed a great game, considering it ended in that draw. Second, this is the first time anyone has even mentioned me in the forums.

And thirdly, the bastardly builder that got away to make base in the crate room while you were trying to get tremma was me.
