That alien base actually looks moderately defendable. A few tubes and trappers, and it'll be pretty hard for the hummies to even see the OM.

Added some more umph to the base
I put four tubes by default in the base; does that make it too defendable? They're all by the doors.

To keep you Dretch and Basilisks happy, I put in plenty of pipes (As well as clip brushes so there aren't any odd bugs with the pipe and the wall)

sounds a bit too defensive, but then again, better than the defense in Battlezone =/
