Video driver error

I haven't been able to use Tremulous, because I have had a problem with video drivers.  Before I installed the latest version, it wasnt able to find the Glide driver.  My new video card is not a 3DFX card, and is not Glide enabled.  Now, Tremulous opens a fullscreen window and is closed by Windows.  I am running Windows XP with 1GB RAM, a P4 516 (2.93GHz), and a GeForce FX 5500.

I'd check your Windows folders for a glidexxx.dll file as that triggers apps that search for Glide(dead driver type) or get a Glide wrapper, either should work.

I deleted the files, it still didn't work.  Plz note that I have a mobo graphics driver too.  Should I uninstall it?
