So I am getting pretty tired of !ban, !kick, !denybuild every time the deconner connects.

So on his ~10th reconnect I try to chat with him.

I private messaged him and here is how it went:

timecop:  Roffle and I were sent here because Jeff and Rawr said some pretty nasty things about our group

timecop: gnaa

/m timecop  What is gnaa?

/m timecop what do you want me to do?

timecop: Jeff and Rawr need to appoligize

/m timecop: how

timecop: go to irc.gnaa.ws and join #gnaa

/m timecop  Ok now what?

timecop: you need to have them appoligize to blogpers




So I connect to the irc channel and try and ask who was offended and get a good run around.  

At this point I realise I am getting screwed with...

I would guess that GNAA is simply the first thing that came to mind when you asked... it's pretty much just a /. culture legend by this point  :)

No, it was made on purpose. Note the name of the deconner : timecop which is also the name of the supposed founder of GNAA according to wikipedia.

Wow. I would never have had the balls to actually connect to the GNAA IRC server.

Anyway, yeah. You pretty much fail for not knowing what the GNAA was just by the acronym, and assuming that they'd actually take their time to mess with some random servers on an open-source game.

Especially because it was only one deconner. The GNAA would've just DDOS'd your game server, or something retarded like that.

These guys aren't the first. Groups like these dopes come and go all the time. They'll get bored and move on to something else.

Get designated builder and a few /protect commands will keep you safe until the next map. Denybuild is for keeping noobs from building. Designated builder is for keeping idiots from deconning.

I ended up banning this deconner many times,  I think he needs to go get a job, or find some constructive use of his time.  Than I heard about it might be in reaction to something someone said, but if they have an issue with someone it needs to be backed up with proof. When I heard about the GNAA I thought it was a joke.  If a group is trying to be respected they wouldn't use the word Nigger in there title!  They would be self respectfull like the NAACP.
