The Menu

Not bad. but the menu needs some working on.

- First i'll go onto the startup menu, when you launch the mod.  I can see a planet. but it needs something... The planet model needs a better skin showing some of what we can see in the light. Also i don't know what planet it is? if it gonna have a moon, we should make it spin around it.
And the sun needs working on. It show's on the top right of the planet, but. The bottom left on the planet glows? Ok... we gotta get that fixed(unlest its just part of the planets sexyness, but its still needs tweaking.   ).

- The class select menu. This hole thing is nice and orderly. but using the mouse to select a unit is slow.
Can we have the "item prev/next" keys to quickly select, then press the "item use" to select it? Im a hands on type. With my keybored, so this will make it easy for me. And anyone eals also.

- Building menu. Same as above, but making it more transperant will make things easy to see if your being attacked.

Besides the fact that I don't really think there is anything wrong with the splash screen, it is hardly effectual as far as the gameplay is concerned, which is the focus of testing.

I don't really see what is so hard about double clicking on something is. Furthermore, the mouse cursor will remain in the position it last was so most of the time you won't even need to move it. A keyboard based menu system is counter intuitive for new players.

The visual apperance of the menus will almost certainly change in the future, but it's not a priority now.

Your problem there is that some people end up Moving the mouse after they open the menu.
Don't start thinking everyone will change because one mod says: "Do this or leave". The extra option will better enhance the control over a game. And beleave me.  Control is more important than both looks and gameplay.
Think. the first Super Mario game, had bad gfx. And Very simple gameplay(run-jump-run-jump), but its was fun in its time because jumping high and landing on a enemy was cool!  :D

Ya understand that?
