pretty sure u all know this, but just to tell u all:

some guy named nocomputer has been going around deconning and abusing the "build under the grate on tremor" bug. i banned him on beer garden, any admins on other servers should too. be forewarned that he does come back eventually.

Problem is that most of the servers that have people in them have no admins or the like.  As in, I ONLY see him on the servers with open slots, because quite frankly none of them have any sort of admins.

Yeah, someone was on BG just a few minutes ago and threatened to decon in my name on other servers.  Ban is by IP He's now permabanned (he started at BG), but just so others can watch for the guy and know it's not me.  (I use exclusively TJW builds, so I have an ID that will show).

Admins on BG can't see that (at least not a lowly head-admin like me  :wink: )  Not everyone with a given name is that person, be careful in banning, I guess

Ban evasion is generally a ban-able offense.  At least twice as long as the original ban (for me)

Can someone contact the creator of Tremor to see if he can fix it/allow someone else to fix it, take it out of rotation until it happens?

Cause it's bannable on any server I've been on, but it's like how in WoW it was illegal to be on rooftops for a while despite the physical ability to get on up there. It's a silly way to enforce rules. This is the software world; just make it physically impossible to do what you dont want people to do.

It's great that you can't wait since such system isn't effective to prevent griefers and so will probably never be implemented.
