whenever i go to screen then press play the dam screen freezes does any1 know wat the hel is wrong with this and i have windows dell intel pentium 4 processer and its windows xp

Or if you have a router, kill all firewalls on your Pc.
This will save you a headache in a longrun as well.

That's because it's trying to query the servers, but can't because it's blocked, and it gets stuck(freezes). If you want your firewall on, but want to play Tremulous at the same time, allow Tremulous through the firewall by adding it to your allowed applications list.
