I've been playing as aliens alot recently. When I get a heavy alien and start attacking humans something strange happens. I'll be right on top of them and chomping but the attacks won't hit. Is this lag? Is there anyway to fix it?
yes, this is caused by network latency(lag is a broad term). there are several solutions: play on servers where you get less ping (it's much less noticeable if your ping is less than 50), lead the humans a bit, or play on servers running unlagged (currently 2 that i know of, but a working version (not final, but close enough) of the patch is in bugzilla,*cough*go put it up server admins*cough*).
