Aliens have a substance to slow humans, how about a similar goop to reduce traction?
You people are intelligent, I don't think I need to elaborate on the possibilities.
ever assume a species is intelligent just because it produces intelligent individuals.

Maybe the advanced builder's web blob attack could do this. Would be more useful for evading pursuers than trying to hit them with it.

Well the topic says "Alien ability to reduce traction for humans" but now that you mention it Who, it would be a much better ability for humans. Might make building in high places more viable, and I think aliens have enough mobility limiting abilities already.

Wow, you know I never thought of this as a human ability, but that would be rather cool.

Also, I was looking through the forum archive, and discovered that Norf actually suggested the slippery goop thing a while back :)
