An excellent idea. I was even thinking of integrating bots into the regular gameplay. By having a bot-only dretch class you can spawn somehow (like from a hive or something).

Either way, since Trem stoled NS I recommend examining NS bots:

Trem didn't "Stoled" NS. Completely different gameplay, completely different engines. So your suggested bots would never work on Trem.

I guess hes doing the movement himself.

Removed because the style of bots involved wouldn't work with wallclimb-enabled classes anyways. You'd need entirely new approaches to bots already I'm afraid.

If you can program a bot that doesn't completely suck for any Alien class, we can work with that.
I think tyrant might be the easiest to program, as there is not much for it to make decisions on.
No fancy jumps
No special attacks (zap, gas, snipe etc.)
No wall-walking
Really, I think tyrant might actually be feasible.

No one is suggesting copy paste coding. Programming is not the difficult part. These bots should be examined for a wall-walking-aware bot algorithm, which as far as I know is not present in any other game save maybe Gloom (if they have bots for that).
