Problem with keyboard controls

I installed Tremulous at my home-pc and everything works well. The only problem is the keyboard control for walking. When I press "walk forward" or "walk left/right", the character moves to far. Not just on step - about 8-10 steps. So I cant move the character detailed. I installed the game on another computer an there the controls work well. I also tried to update the keyboard driver, but that wont work. Also changed the keyboard-delay to long and keyboard-speed to slow in system but nothing happened.

It sounds a driver issue, probably bad driver and slow one-core cpu.
Tell us some more details (CPU, keyboard model) please

no, its definitely not lagging. Everything else works fine. I can shoot, build, etc. in time. I'm able to differ between lagging and my keyboard problem.

How old is the computer? how old is the keyboard? tried another keyboard?

LOL...

can we see this?

try downloading fraps
http://www.fraps.com/download.php

and set the settings using half size and 60 fps minimize and run trem and create a new game by your self and press f9 to start recording and f9 to stop though the demo of fraps can only tape for a limited time but all you need is 10 seconds to show us.

Then upload them to bigupload.com the only wait time there is when its recovering the file from its archives and testing your download speed better than filefront no adds either.

I had this problem once. At random, usually inconvenient times, I would get a "stuck key" effect like that. I could make it disappear for several seconds by forcing Trem to reinitialize directinput.

I eventually solved it by deleting autogen.cfg from my /base folder.

BTW I had a saitek eclipse and an AMD64 3400+ so it's probably not a cpu issue. And the eclipse doesn't come with drivers.
