Seems like most of the times you ask, you disconnect 10 seconds later. Afaik, most people on the channel are busy doing things and only glance at irc every once-in-a-while. Sometimes small games are organized on other days, but usually the dev team doesnt show up. (either sleeping or working on trem.... or playing some other computer game, at least in my case)
Hopefully, when trem is released, there will be people always playing, but right now its a semi-closed beta and there simply are not enough people to start good games with enough people except when we can schedule it in advance to make sure we're all there.
