Any Trem players at Stanford?

I and my roommate Someone[SU] kind of added [SU] to the end of our player names as a joke, but now that we're playing more regularly I thought it would be sweet to see if we could get together a clan of players from Stanford (hence clan [SU]).

We usually play on BeerGarden (good admins, low ping, few noobs) and are in the 20-30 kill range, generally playing humans.  The clan wouldn't be too serious to start, I'm mostly just curious to see if there is any interest.  If you're an intermediate - advanced Trem player and a student at Stanford, let me know!

Yep, I observe this problem too. It's a nasty one, but it keeps me to my studies instead of on Trem .

I'm pretty sure it has to do with a new round of packet shapers that the university put in place last year. They're really concerned about slowing down P2P traffic and I think Trem falls under that umbrella.

A friend of mine used to go to the library to play WoW because he said he could avoid the lag there - try that? Also, I think I remember him contacting Rescomp and explaining the situation - that might have earned him some way to get around the shapers.

2 year bumps for the win.  I'm surprised he actually searched and found it.  I guess that gives you a respect point for using the search button, though the clan section doesn't really qualify as troubleshooting.

I think they are has wireless down at Avery Aquatic Center. You might see me down there weekdays in the afternoon, as my water polo team rents the pool out for practice while ours is being built.
