Anyways, Z is default bound to zoom and only works with the mass driver.

It took me a hell of a long time to figure it out since it's an odd placement, and because I initially rebound Z to something else.

the mass driver doen't look intimidating at all thats why its disregarded i say the bullet that comes out of it should have a long trail of green glowing paticles and don't say its hard theres one already in the game, short but its there ( the laser gun )

I think it needs a flexible flagpole with one of Overflow's bunnies on top. Kinda like those little orange flags you can stick on your kid's bicycle.

I think he's referring to the use of 'staged' scope in other games where you can vary the zoom level instead of the fully zoomed/no zoom Z key.

I'd second it if rapidly pushing Z wasn't so trippy.

very interesting, the ONLY weapon you can shoot while holding RMB is lucy, any other weapon gets blocked by RMB

we got +zoom from quake3, where all weapons could zoom in iirc. tremulous made it md only, but left the command as +zoom when the standalone was released, since then, it has changed to +button5 in svn, which is the right mouse button.

oops. the balance mod changes the zoom to right click. it IS normally the Z button. my mistake. however, i much prefer it on the right mouse button.

Re-working the mass driver graphics would be nice.
Right now, it reminds me of the default spawn weapon from quake.
