Re-Installing

Hello,

Due to a retarded situation, I think I have to re-install my game. However, when i uninstall it when install it on again, I am assuming I will lose all my binds... but what about the admin guid? I am an admin on 3 servers; what will reinstalling do to this?

Is there any other things I should know about reinstalling?

...copy your base folder.
When you re-install the game, copy that base folder back over. You will mainly want to keep your autogen.cfg file.. but also probably your maps , so hold on to your base folder.

I THINK.. your GUID will be fine unless you are doing something like a full operating system install or something... but i'm not 100% sure about that

(I don't know why you would need to reinstall trem really though.. how that would help anything)

Thats why. However, I might not have to... Thanks for the tip anyways, though, if I can't figure it out I will re-install.

the GUID is in a file called qkey, in the base folder.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.
