(let's do a little story)

Aliens invade the earth, they evolve in those type of huge invincible monsters (tyrant, stage 3). The humans, to protect themselves of the tyrants, create the Tesla generator (stage 3) which can easily kill a tyrant.

If we follow this, this would mean that aliens have a week point with electricity. Now, Advanced Marauders can zap people, why not make it so that if a Tesla attack is directed onto them, the electricity is redirected to an enemy building or person. And for the Marauder, why not making Tesla proof? Since the marauders are resistant to Tesla charge, they should be extremely week to bullets. For other energy guns the damage would be diminished and the reste of the energy would be converted and transformed into electricity to zap people


Hereunder is a list of the weak/strong points for each alien (tell me if I'm wrong).

Creature :( Weak point :) Strong point
Dretch :( not much health :) everything (a little bit), fast
Granger :( slow, not much health :) everything (more then dretch)
Advanced Granger :( slow :) everything (less the granger, more then dretch)
Marauder :( material (very weak) :) energy (no damage)
Advanced Marauder :( material (extremely weak) :) energy (backfires to enemy)
Basilik :( energy :) material
Advanced Basilik :( energy :) material
Tyrant :( energy :) material

What I mean here by "material" are guns with profectiles (machinegunes, rifles, turrets, etc.). What I mean by "energy" are guns which use energy like the Las Gun, Pulse gun, lucifer canon.

uhm...first and formost you do not atk with a granger...they are builders and arent meant to fight...and no, if you use an energy weapon you dont get some kind of 'super effective' effect if you use it against a certain class of aliens (this is not pokemon)

hey, this is only an idea, a proposition!!!

When I wrote this the ideas of pokemon NEVER came!!! I was thinking of TREMULOUS! I thought that it would add a little bit more difficulty to the game!!!!!

I know grangers aren't meant to fight, but that's not the point! And they can attack, although it is not great.

Oh. i didnt think you meant this as an idea...but anyways, certain weapons already have their advantages and disadvantages to certain monsters...like how chain is one of the best weapons against tyrants because chain does tons of damage if all hits land, and tyrant has a huge hitbox to catch all the shots.
theres more...but im lazy. youll have to actually play the game a bit more to learn the weaknesses and strengths that come with each weapon/alien class.

The only good idea out of this is Advanced Marauder being resistant to teslas.

Tesla: Good for any creature and blockes them out at s1 and s2. s3 can easily kill them with two hits.

Weak points should be points where alien carapace is weaker and bullets that hit there inflict more damage. Easy as that. If there were any..
