TJW bypass?

well, some of you know me, I am |AoD|Green and ran into some difficulties banning some deconners from a server I admin. When I tried simply !ban Owned it came back with this message:

!ban: usage |name|slot|IP (duration) (reason)

I know full well how to !ban people, seeing as how I've done it before, but I did !namelog and tried IP banning him. It returned the same error message, so I did !ban 20 100000w (just to fill in the duration) deconning

Same error message was returned...

Is there a hack that makes players invisible to TJW? Because this same thing happened to me yesterday... :eek:  :-?

!kick seems to work but not !ban.. I believe it's the color codes in players names that are messing up !ban. If all else fails keep continuing to kick by player #..

Instead of banning him , i get a nice new fresh namelog in my console....sweet.

Try '!ban Owned 100000w deconning' ?

Unless this server is specially configured you need both a DURATION and a REASON for the ban.

Just because their name shows up white, doesn't mean there's no colors. :-)

they are all converted to seconds, and the max time (for any unit, excluding permaban of course) is 2147483647 seconds.

you just need to have the host add a flag to the admin.dat.

thanks, turns out I need a reason and a duration for the ban... and 2147483647 seconds turns out to be 3550.733 weeks, or 68.283 years... That would seem permanent enough

...and only allowed for those admins that don't need a duration anyway.
