There is a user on these forums who is claiming to be me.

I thought now would be a good time to address the issue.

He cant even get my name right.

I was wondering if this guy could get banned from the forums or something if he continues his fraud.

I find it amusing how he has claimed to be other people and says things which i dont do.

Like there is a claim that he is Pleb, and there is a huge difference in the skill levels between me and pleb, and there is a rather large difference in ping on the server...

He says other things check out his posts in the link i provided.

I only created an account on the forums once i found out about this guy and i have thank TLG for letting me know about it.

I am not active on the forums that much i have only been checking to see what he posts.

I have sent him private messages before and asked him to stop yet he continues.


So can something be done about this, even if nothing is done hopeful this thread will let people know.

I care! Name stealing is a disgusting thing to do. It happened to me on Trem once and I got banned from almost every server! Took ages to get back on!

Yeah ok, because he said he would like to apply for RABUF and he's on the member list I think. Is it you or him on the RABUF forums? Because they are registered as Bug! and have made a few posts.

I am assuming its was link or rebound which started is as they where the only one who would call me cpblast.

They started people doing it ingame.

So i would say it was them.

TLG can verify it is me, iBug can as well as some other people.

I also have many demos (over 70) on my hdd of me playing on GA servers where there are some other playing who can verify it was me.

I can prove i am the one when i release my video and there will be others again who will remember me teaching the some tricks ingame in this video when i get around to cutting it down in size and editing, and they could also verify that it was me, as i am the only one who has the footage of it and it has not been released yet.

Also have you happened to read any of my Private messages to you, they are no longer in the outbox which means you have read them or you just deleted them.

i never got a responce back from them so it not like you have said you are not stealing my name, you just ignored them.

Unfortunately for you i have more stuff to prove that i am the real Bug! then you ever could.

Vespa might recall some chats i have had with him ingame, and other situations where he accused me of hacks and such.

PwNzA can verify it is me along with many others.

No offense, but not the most original.  Not a bad one mind you, its just that I wouldn't be surprised to see someone else use the name without knowing.

Perhaps insulting this individual in your initial post was not the wisest way to resolve the problem, no?  Think they would be less likely to be helpful then?

The exact colours of my name and every little thing in them, chances are slim.

My name i not just simply Bug!, and even if it was to have the same colouring and all, and to have never seen another one in game...

New player my arse, when did you reg on the forums 18 of november, OMG you have been playing for at least 1 month and a bit THATS NO LONGER NEW TO A GAME!
And over a period of a month playing on GA servers and never seeing me online with the same name.
When infact i have been playing much longer then that, although i may have used different names back in the beginning, i was around when you could do the battle suit bug which has been patched on GA servers for a long time now (over 1 month).
