What do you expect from clans?

Just wondering, from what iv seen, more people just tag up and continue to play like normal. I think they should be more focused on clan matching.

Or is it much easier to search for just "zilla"?

i really don't have to search, they are mostly on teamspeak or our server, but i like matches more than normal games.
However, you did forget Thrash, and raytray, and firebird. How dare you :p

I expect clan matchs and have thusly been disappointed so far, the closest SGA has had to a clan match since I joined for clan matches was a single match against CU that I missed and was told wasn't any good anyway because none of their best players could make it.

Ozzy makes a good point. Its much easier for me to find people in clans that I'm friendly with then searching each person's individual name. Also, the few clan matches I've been in were pretty fun so thats another draw to clans.

Well, the real point of this thread was to see why so many clans ([ICE] for example) are so lame about clan matches, and would rather just play normal games on sst.


Just to mention, they've lost all my respect because they got mad during our match, and left.

When I first started playing trem I had chose not to join a clan. Because most clans I saw failed or were entirely dumbasstic.  Zilla appealed to me because they had about 5 or 6 games before I joined. And they were only started a week or so before.  So I knew that they actually played.

That and the server's pwn.  :)

I guess ice got bored or got tired of being killed over and over again?

personally, I think that there are all sorts of clans out there.  Mine is one that does a lot of content for trem, with a lesser focus on wars, and a greater focus on reliable members (we all know each other from real life, so thats why we're in a clan together.  Oh the wonders of LAN networks  :wink: ), but at the same time, I like the clans that do it for other purposes like helping noobs or clan wars.

It all comes down to the whim of the person, methinks.

At least they had the dignity to show up unlike with {Jo|So} and our war last week. How dare they  :evil:

MW enjoys battles. we always hang together, very friendly bunch we've got [most of the time]. A clan shouldn't just be there to win,or be the most popular, but to actually have fun.

I heard one of the people in the clan showed up and played a game. Afterward they said they would 1 vs all MW so MW would stop whining, but MW got scared and all disconnected from the server.
